Gratitude: Earth Meditation
This month is all about Gratitude for me.
Earth: Plant & Breath
In keeping with the gratitude theme, I’ve composed and pre-released a new meditation called Earth: Plant & Breath.
It is a Heart centered meditation utilizing color imagery to connect with the Earth in honor and Breath. This pre-release was given in gratitude, via email, to all of those who have supported their Health through my information offerings as tracked in the cart system through downloading either free or sale products.
The meditation will be released for purchase shortly. Click for information.
February: Gratitude
I am grateful for my friend Barbara who joins me in these conversations. I am grateful for this forum in which to grow and expand together.
It’s Deeply Personal
We started out by defining what gratitude is and what it is not.
- It is an experience through the heart (not the intellect)
- Thoughts of gratitude lead to this experience
- It is not a type of debt and it has ‘no strings attached’
Barb and I believe that everyone has an innate inner desire, from a Soul level to be in a field of gratitude. Physical feelings of stress, pain, tension can add to our feelings of separation if, as Barbara mentioned, we hold that type of attitude. The Gratitude Journal, which was the homework from last month, is a major tool Barbara recommends in her practice for helping people move out of difficult times. It is significant to make a daily practice to gather your energy.
The journal as:
- a self assessment or monitor
- an exercise in perspective
- a tool to get to know yourself more deeply
Rapport (with yourself) is defining for Gratitude, not the ‘appreciation’ of your bank account. This is key for influencing and generating a preferred personal electromagnetic field for attracting things into your life. Given this, quality of life can be a tool to maintain focus since it is key to keeping this concept real and doable… rather than having it be unreachable.
Barbara shared a magical experience, from which I moved into a spontaneous guided meditative exercise that can be used again and again.
Gratitude is a core / foundational energetic principle and if honored to your deepest possible level, the impact in your life and the lives of those around you can be beneficially exponential. Here we concluded that, if everybody was invested at this level, World Peace is possible.
Your assignment this month:
Take your feeling of Gratitude & offer it creatively within your Community.
Follow & Empower the Flow

What are you noticing in the air around you?
Last newsletter, I suggested the energy was of Phoenix Rising (out of the fire). When there’s fire, there’s smoke, but that’s clearing now. What’s left? This might sound silly, but after you are done looking at the obvious, take a moment to look at what is in between the more solid bits… If all of space is a tree, look between the leaves. Where is their movement coming from?
Black & White (and gray)
As the energies within and around us are transitioning (and elevating), the world can look a little more black and white. The shadows are a little deeper and it looks like the sun is shining a little brighter. This puts us in a particular position: *we see more* While you wouldn’t think of that as necessarily problematic, it does mean that as our view changes we become more responsible.
What does the view and responsibility have to do with each other anyway?
Well, if you are reading this, you are probably someone who is committed to yourself: your Growth and your Truth. You are brave, courageous and willing to be wrong, see clearly and honor All that Is around you.
(This is as compared to someone who is just going about living life casually and without much conscious thought to their deeper purpose; not incorrectly, simply at a different layer.)
When the smoke clears before you, you see more clearly and appreciate different flow around the circumstances that might have been in a gray zone before. Whatever is there, is there presenting you with a choice:
- Align with your new view, or align with the pre-existing view.
Sounds simple. Maybe if you live on a desert island by yourself. Different people will see different things, draw different conclusions and make different choices. It is your job, as the responsible person that you are, to stay true to yourself while cooperating with others and Universal forces; follow & empower the flow.
This is where many people get caught.
- It is simple because you know your truth.
- It seems hard because of the change. Especially when the change affects everything around you.
What about compromise?
- Do you hold to your truth hard and fast?
- Do you create time (wait or use patience) for the physical adjustments?
- Do you pretend you never saw or know?
Your choice will be a unique blend determined by your past experiences, your goals, your soul contracts / relationships, your motivations, your willingness…
Hard fast truth shrinks the timeline. Can you cope with the accompanying stress of rapid change? If you are excessively considerate of others, is there enough of yourself in the equation to avoid resentment? (it’s your choice after all) Are you going to ignore your truth because the perceived risk is too high? For how long? What can you live with? Consider external motivations that will give temporary & unfulfilling result: martyr, hero, provider, addict… (yes, they are the archetypes)
There is no ‘right’ answer because you are an aspect of All that Is, but your motivation will determine if you feel stuck, liberated, resentful, excited… The *only* approach that will ever feel right is the approach that:
- Honors You First, Within Creation
Put another way: Honoring your leaf on the tree of life.
And knowing that you aren’t just the tree, but the wind that moves the leaves, too.
This is huge, but the gist of it comes back to my 2 rules:
- Do your best.
- Be true to yourself.
Lastly, in keeping with the tree example, you are lovingly supported by a solid tree trunk and using this as a visualization or as a meditative exercise will work to help you maintain your focus.
With many Blessings from me to you.
Reiki III
Reiki III is my favourite level to facilitate because although the content is quite deep and the experience intense, there is a real sense of joy that I notice every time.
Weekend Intensive
This group was very focused and since they came from different Reiki II groups, I have to say I’m impressed with their foundation and perspectives. They are keen and they are generous of Spirit with an open minded and open hearted approach.
They were strongly sensitive to the energies and all were able to perceive to a great degree both personal and external energy dynamics.
One of my favorite questions had to do with the concept of ‘Grounding’ and the nature of Earth’s Energy. Beyond that, there were technical concepts explored around process, flow and free will.
They have become skilled at advanced techniques, passing attunements for healing as well as each level. This is a lot to integrate and master in a weekend and they did wonderfully.
Thank you ladies for sharing your insights and gifts this weekend.
