Grace & Care Meditation

Centering in Your Being through Grace & Care

There is no foundation if you are not Centered in your Being. What does that mean anyways?

It is like a compass and so very often in our lives concerns come up and we redirect our compass to externals like: relationships, money & other stressors.

This meditation is quite clear about the differentiation between you and:

  • the scenery & colors
  • a companion you meet on the path & the guide ahead of you…

This is important because often times Big Hearted and Well Meaning People are strongly affected by the externals that have your attention and these externals can seem to become a part of you. Independence from these negative influences through compassion and care is inclusive, supportive and kind. It is in accepting this into your lives that you can offer it to others in a Greater fashion.

To be Centered and Empowered means:

  • you may accept appropriate help and not be clingy
  • you may express your emotions without having them rule your responses
  • you will have a neutral position when expectations come up
  • you are empowered to honor the situation for all it has to offer

Practice the meditation to strengthen your experiences, visualizations & imagery, and be better able to carry this intention into your life.

What is Stress?

Stress is often misunderstood. Many people look at outside events as the source of stress, but, in fact, the experience of stress is actually caused by our emotional reactions to events. A response to stress is expressed as resistance, tension, strain, or frustration and it throws off our mental and emotional equilibrium, keeping us out of sync.

Two people in identical circumstances may respond in very different ways (e.g., one may get outwardly reactive, the other tired and withdrawn) depending upon how they perceive the situation. One thing is certain, stress not only affects our attitudes and outlook, it can also affect our health. By changing how we respond to stressful situations we can change our physiological response to stress.

Stress and eating

Experts now agree that 75% or more of overeating is caused by emotional stress, which means that a lot of us are using food to cope with our feelings. The Secret Code of Your Mind

Exciting, invigorating, hope inspiring… Eternal, infinite, powerful… genuine, heart-ful, passionate… I could go on about this interview!

There is a Lifeline FlowChart that Dr Weissman saw when he had an awakening which is the basis of his work. It combines multiple modalities both ancient & modern to be something altogether Unique. It has 16 different steps & the basis is “Infinite Love & Gratitude“.

The process is to influence & guide the sub-conscious mind, of each person and act as a bridge to the conscious perception. It is not “Fix It” oriented, but honoring and empowering of each person’s body which is designed to heal, regenerate & be whole.

There are 3 stages of mind:

  1. Detoxify the mind
  2. Regenerate the field of the mind
  3. The thriving mind

Beyond the mind, we talked about Infinity… Where is it when even my “happy place” has a boundary around it? Simply put, it is in the present moment. NOW. Now is the time to act, to choose, to take the next step on the journey. Now is the time to activate self-honor and appreciate that it’s not a ’50 yard dash to enlightenment.’

He gave us 5 basics for optimal health that need to be balanced with Quantity, Quality & Frequency: (These are essential acts of self love.)

  1. Water
  2. Food
  3. Rest
  4. Exercise
  5. How you own your power

Darren gave us a spontaneous “Cliff notes example” of a Lifeline session and even with this brief sample, it was wonderfully & profoundly contrasted with some negative self-talk to highlight the difference in feel.

Resilience can be defined as something more than the ability to ‘bounce back’ and can include the ability to deflect and be less affected by stressors in life.

  • There are real neurochemical changes that occur in personally activating appreciation, true care & compassion for others.
  • Emotions move faster than the mind & the heart moves faster than the emotions… and the heart gives power to the mind.
  • We all have the power of the heart and it is with us from birth.

Thank you Howard, for walking us through a coherence technique called “Attitude Breathing,” which can be used easily, several times a day as needed to help refocus and repattern our triggers into a negative state.

A beautiful concept is that we all, through our nobility, our dignity & our personal responsibility can positively affect not just our own life, but the world as well.
