LOH: Emilie Conrad
The Alpha & Omega of Spiritual Birth… The Uroboros is rich in symbolism that Emilie interprets through evolution, fluidity and movement. With the mouth as the Alpha and the tail as the Omega, this symbolizes the Eternal cycle of birth, death & resurrection. The serpent was the first to make it’s way from water to land & is a pioneer of consciousness.
The Eternal Return
Emilie describes the stages of identity & evolution which all stems from her initial observation of undulating movement that she identified as ‘moving prayer.’
- The Cultural Anatomy is necessary to anchor us in time & place
- The Primordial Anatomy would encompass the empathy & honor
- The Cosmic Anatomy is a completely creative & fluid presence
Our bodies are fluid systems. Water flows and resonates. The fluidity of movement and conscious potential is restricted by compressed fluids within our bodies. These compressions lock us in time & can come from:
- stress: physical or mental / emotional
- regimented, redundant, repetitive thought or behaviour
- trauma: physical or emotional
There is no better way to begin to move restrictions than with sound. Emilie demonstrated O and E sounds and she has researched these & other sounds extensively, particularly with paralysis as the ultimate lack of movement. She is excited about:
- Glial cells: creative; alternate conduction potentiality
- Gel-sol phase transition structure: primary movement of the cells
- The embryo as a ‘fractal of burgeoning life’
Ending the ‘fragmentation of our spiritual bio-cosmic existence’ is Emilie’s life’s work and Continuum promotes personal exploration through honor & relevancy.
