August: Currency
You probably guessed that this was about more than $$ Money $$. What currencies do you value?
Money, Relationships, Self-Awareness
The constructs around us to do with currency are staggering! Typically they begin with programming from our childhood and upbringing and grow from there. There are dynamics of:
- Wanting to fit in
- Wanting to keep up
- Wanting to be recognized
The problems with these constructs is that there is no fulfillment built into them. Continual striving & external referencing compound the entanglement and make it harder & harder to draw your attention back within.
Various currencies and only some varied meanings include:
- Money: the perception of success, security, prestige, self-worth, freedom
- Relationships: affection, reflection, acknowledgment
- Work: self-sufficiency, responsibility, recognition of competence
It’s not being a consumer or the need for relationships that are the root of the issue, but the Need Driving You. Over time there has been a progression of disconnectedness evolving:
- Originally: Actual commodities in a person : person exchange
- Simplifying: Money system with coins & paper with credits recognized
- Convenience: Card system with lesser awareness of limits
- Global Digital: Signals, numbers, agreements with no items
The disconnect translates to many areas of life where practical limits and personal awareness are incongruent leading to confusion, depression & crisis. Essentially, the 3D reality is governed by 4D entanglements rather than 5D Grace.
Homework from:
- Barbara: De-clutter. “Simplify, simplify, simplify.”
- Nina: Evaluate someone else’s currency and evaluate how to honor that and be true to yourself at the same time.
July: Happiness
“I just want to be happy,” is one of the statements I hear the most. What does that mean? As a highly subjective experience, we explore not just meaning, but components and energy dynamics, too.
Happiness
It is interesting to note that happiness is polarized. This means that it has a strong opposite in sadness or depression. It is notable that in my experience those living the negative side of this polarity field are often Highly Sensitive & have a Huge Capacity for Joy, although unrealized.
There are several key points to happiness.
- Congruence: In your actions & thoughts / intentions
- Accountability: To yourself, without judgment & criticism
- Honesty: In what is authentic to you
The roller coaster / pendulum of emotions might not be the best aim. What about having the fullness of the experience of the emotion, whether happiness or sadness, but being anchored in your own sense of self with contentment?
How do you get there?
- With help of professionals & supportive friends / family
- Through introspection & contemplation
- Embracing reality & working from there
Homework includes: Creating & using a personal prayer honoring your abundance for 30 Days. Also, an exercise by Martin Seligman: Find 3 positive things that happened in your day and write out the reason why it happened. Do this for 10 days. ~ And laugh!

Our monthly call on Soul Sight Services was on the topic of Prosperity, again. It’s a huge topic affecting every area of your life when looked at from a Body, Mind, Spirit point of view.
Prosperity – Part 2
Getting off the hamster wheel is a goal most strive for. Dimensionally, this is the unfulfilling expression of 4D. Some key concepts were
- Materialism vs. being a consumer
- Money as the prevalent commodity
- Worth vs. contentment
- Exploring attachment: what is it?
Can you accept goodness in your life? Do you feel there is a cost? What are you worth and where does that come from?
Congruence with your intentions and finding the expansive flow are important elements that help move you into a place of fluidity which allows you to feel the prosperity present in the Universe.
Spontaneously, a set of 3 declarations were given in terms of setting a tone for this life and releasing any past life ties to lack. Meditative imagary was offered in an exercise to feel growth and support through plant life.
- Homework from Barbara: Notice what you DO have. Reading: Ask & It Is Given by Esther & Jerry Hicks
- Homework from Nina: Look for evidence of Universal support. Reading: The Little Money Bible by Stuart Wilde
May: Prosperity
Prosperity, defined as something that you are, not something that you: achieve, get, acquire… is tied into every aspect of your life on many levels.
Prosperity, Manifestation, Abundance…
We took the holistic approach to this topic: friendships, money, fulfillment… In it’s truest form it is integrated within Body, Mind & Soul. With this comes feelings of confidence, inspiration & motivation! However, without congruence, you can’t get anywhere.
- You may end up with money, but no satisfaction.
- You may end up with work, but poor cash flow.
- It will always seem out of balance.
Clarity was addressed because cloudy thoughts or wishy-washy -ness will undermine your energy flow. For the Prosperity to energetically flow within you and your life, appropriate ‘scaffolding’ needs to be in place and includes:
- decisiveness
- gratitude
- self-respect
“Life happens” and the the better Prosperity Flow Structure you have in place, the easier it will be for you to generate a re-direction of flow away from eroding energy patterns and into creativity.
Barbara’s homework: Contemplate statements like, “I am prosperous. I am abundant.”
Nina’s homework:
- I hijacked Barbara’s homework and re-interpreted it to be, “Sing the ‘I Love Money’ song.” (Just like I did on the call)
- Assess your clutter. Get rid of one thing: sell it, give it away or trash it.
April: Responsibility
“Nuggets” seem to be at the center of our Responsibility process. Honor is the key and wisdom is the reward.
Pebble in the Pond: Micro and Macro
Responsibility is a huge topic! Barbara Watson and I looked at a lot of angles with this call: Homelessness – Family – Self-Expectations – Physiology – Archetypes…
The definition that seemed most appropriate seemed to make the most sense for our purposes: The ability to self-reference in honor of your surroundings and honor of others.
The word itself really lends itself to our comments about presence:
- Responsibility -> responsible -> respond
- No mention of reacting, of being trapped, of feeling obligated
- It is a presence. It can be found in silence…
Silence is a lot more than not talking. Naked honesty is what you sit with once you are silent: Hold no expectations… Expectations go hand in hand with the word ‘should’ when held with inflexibility and can cause you to be ‘off your center’ and:
- Your (in)sight to be off so that you draw false conclusions
- Unexpected opportunity will bounce off of this field
- Even heroic archetypes are constraining although well-meaning
- This can limit your field of manifestation.
Self-centered is a good thing: To be centered within your spiritual center inside yourself. Being in the moment, each response that you will take is different because each moment is different.
Thank you Barbara for the guided meditation! Silence is not about not speaking. You can be receiving when you are silent. Where did your responsibilities go in the moment of silence?
Your Homework From:
- Nina: Evaluate and assess conceptually what are you responsible for in your prosperity consciousness: family, bills… prosperity: personal meaning… beyond the $
- Barbara: Be responsible to yourself to stop for 5 or 10 min in your day. Allow the silence with yourself (or do her included meditation)
March: Community
Community is a concept we are all involved with and influenced by. Where are you within your communities?
Rejected!
So much for belonging in community spirit! I opened with a story about my rejection from a community and we went from there. Barbara, my co-conspirator, made wonderful points about:
- ‘Belonging’ to yourself
- Being present
- Being actively and consciously engaged
We explored several different angles including group ties that can be supportive or not, and also the evolving nature of our lives and therefore the changing nature that will be within our sense of community –> which means honoring your personal balance. It was important for me to share concepts around:
- appropriate belonging and non-attachment to outcomes
- matching your needs with the give and take within any community group
- honoring yourself first with any group in order to maintain perspective
Barbara led us through a beautiful presence meditation that was heart centered. Thank you, Barb! And the homework for this month is two-fold:
- Barb: Go into your community: visit a neighbor or be otherwise engaged
- Nina: Observe group dynamics and community rapport (‘people watch’ in groups)
I added a brief update to the end of the audio regarding my rejection. The audio is now available for purchase at: www.soulsightservices.com
February: Gratitude
I am grateful for my friend Barbara who joins me in these conversations. I am grateful for this forum in which to grow and expand together.
It’s Deeply Personal
We started out by defining what gratitude is and what it is not.
- It is an experience through the heart (not the intellect)
- Thoughts of gratitude lead to this experience
- It is not a type of debt and it has ‘no strings attached’
Barb and I believe that everyone has an innate inner desire, from a Soul level to be in a field of gratitude. Physical feelings of stress, pain, tension can add to our feelings of separation if, as Barbara mentioned, we hold that type of attitude. The Gratitude Journal, which was the homework from last month, is a major tool Barbara recommends in her practice for helping people move out of difficult times. It is significant to make a daily practice to gather your energy.
The journal as:
- a self assessment or monitor
- an exercise in perspective
- a tool to get to know yourself more deeply
Rapport (with yourself) is defining for Gratitude, not the ‘appreciation’ of your bank account. This is key for influencing and generating a preferred personal electromagnetic field for attracting things into your life. Given this, quality of life can be a tool to maintain focus since it is key to keeping this concept real and doable… rather than having it be unreachable.
Barbara shared a magical experience, from which I moved into a spontaneous guided meditative exercise that can be used again and again.
Gratitude is a core / foundational energetic principle and if honored to your deepest possible level, the impact in your life and the lives of those around you can be beneficially exponential. Here we concluded that, if everybody was invested at this level, World Peace is possible.
Your assignment this month:
Take your feeling of Gratitude & offer it creatively within your Community.
January: Resolutions
Monthly Tel-Event
This Tel-Event was the first event of a free monthly series aimed at giving people insight into different concepts from an intuitive, energetic and yet realistic perspective. I was joined on this conversational call by a good friend of mine, Barbara Watson, a gifted clairvoyant with healing hands.
We touched on several fascinating topics:
Time:
- Why January 01?
- How long it can take to manifest the change we’ve resolved to create
- How the past and the future affect our resolutions. “I will be happy when…”
Spirit is win : win:
- We have negative and positive perspectives and its ALL beneficial for the development of wisdom.
- You need to honor yourself and your unique life with its challenges and Blessings.
- Divine energetic flow will work creatively, no matter what we Vision for ourselves.
Heartspace:
- We more or less concluded that the heartspace is the key
- Deep inner truth and honesty (I even confessed my original <lower> motivation for doing Reiki… I hold extreme gratitude for the evolution of perspective!)
- Gratitude and we got homework for February!
Barbara recommended a book by Catherine Ponder called The Dynamic Laws of Prosperity and a supportive website that offers prayer called www.unityworldhq.org. She shared a journaling exercise and she urged people with struggle to reach out for appropriate support.
I recommend looking at Resolutions as a journey process or an exploration rather than an endpoint of perceived success or failure. I also suggested lighting a candle as a form of prayer for giving your situation some energetic support as well as allowing for release.
The February Call will be on Gratitude and will flow forward from this call. No sign up is necessary and the calls will be available for purchase within 48 hours.
There is another blog on this call at Soul Sight Services.
